UPDATE: Freezing Rain, Snow, Fog Create Dangerous Driving Conditions

Freezing rain and snow throughout the day on Sunday have led to less-than-ideal road conditions for Monday morning's commute.

UPDATE (11:30 p.m., Jan. 27, 2013): Freezing rain and snow caused dozens of accidents in the Twin Cities on Sunday, and motorists are urged to use caution when venturing out on roadways for the Monday morning commute as temperatures are forecast to remaini near the freezing point for much of the day.

UPDATE (12:55 p.m., Jan. 27, 2013): The National Weather Service has upgraded its winter weather advisory for the Hudson area into a following full-blown winter storm warning valid until midnight:

* MAIN IMPACT: ICE ACCUMULATION FROM A TENTH TO A QUARTER INCH FOLLOWED BY A SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 2 TO 5 INCHES.
