UPDATE: Eau Claire Driver Injured in Two-Semi Crash

All lanes are now open on I-94 at Carmichael Road in Hudson following a multi-vehicle crash that involved an two semi trucks. One truck was overturned and one driver was injured in the crash.

UPDATE (1:47 p.m., July 9, 2012): One of the drivers involved in Monday morning's crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Regions Hospital, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

In addtion to Wisconsin State Patrol, personnel from , and assisted at the scene.

On July 9, 2012 at approximately 8:43am, the Wisconsin State Patrol received a report of a two semi crash on I-94 eastbound near Milepost 2. Ronald Oldenberg, age 64 of Eau Claire, WI, and Ronald Fivecoat, age 43 of Douglas, WY, were both eastbound. Oldenbergs semi first sideswiped Fivecoats semi, then Oldenbergs semi struck the median cement barrier and overturned. Lane 1 eastbound was closed for a short time due to emergency vehicles and Lane 1 and 2 westbound were closed for approximately two hours during the recovery of the semi. Oldenberg received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Regions hospital for evaluation. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.

UPDATE (10:57 a.m., July 9, 2012): The scene is now clear and all lanes are open, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

UPDATE (10:03 a.m., July 9, 2012): All eastbound lanes are now open, but the two left westbound lanes remain closed as workers attempt to remove an overturned semi truck.

ORIGINAL POST (9:18 a.m., July 9, 2012): Left lanes in both directions are closed on I-94 at Carmichael Road in Hudson for a multi-vehicle crash that happened at 8:40 a.m., according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
