Update: Hudson Police Release Surveillance Photo of Subway Robbery Suspect

Police continue to investigate a robbery that occured Tuesday night at the Hudson Subway shop.

At about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday a suspect walked into Subway, ordered a sandwich and when it came time to pay, the man handed an employee a note essentially saying: “Hand over the money. Don’t scream,” Hudson Police Chief Marty Jensen said.

The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect then fled the store.Hudson Police arrived within about 90 seconds of the call, Jensen said. But the suspect was gone on arrival.

The suspect was described as a heavy-set male, who is about 6-feet tall, wearing a flannel shirt over a white T-shirt, a black cap, glasses and black gloves.

No one was injured, Jensen said.

Police are passing the information along to other jurisdictions and working to gather a photo of the suspect from video surveillance, Jensen said.
