The National Weather Service has issued the following dense fog advisory:

* VISIBILITY... A QUARTER MILE OR LESS.

* IMPACTS... DENSE FOG WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVELING CONDITIONS DUE TO SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED VISIBILITY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING... SLOW DOWN... USE YOUR HEADLIGHTS... AND LEAVE PLENTY OF DISTANCE AHEAD OF YOU.

I would prefer the term "thick" fog .... Dense is highly insensitive to differently abled fog.
