Duffy Won't Take Congress Pay During Shutdown: Report

As other members of Congress justify taking their pay, the Republican representing Hudson says no, according to Newsline 9's Daniel Woodruff.

Hudson's congressman won't accept his salary while the federal government is shut down, Daniel Woodruff of Newsline 9 tweeted Tuesday afternoon

"Rep. Sean Duffy has asked for his pay to be withheld during the govt. shutdown."

Duffy's move comes as members of Congress state their position one way or the other on taking pay — in at least one case citing the U.S. Constitution to justify the paycheck.
