Sounds like a great idea. Perhaps you two wouldn't mind buying up all our remaining ad space to help us afford some more editors. :-)

Speaking of the local businesses, I spoke to Greg Tellijohn today. He's the owner of MacXprts in Hudson and he says he hasn't seen a rise of in business from the additional traffic. But he has noted that with all the traffic, it's very unpleasant for him to keep his the door to his shop open all day to create an inviting experience for people walking by. I intend to collect a bunch of short blurbs like his and put them into a larger piece at some point. I'm sure Shawn is doing something similar. When they're ready, we can put them in one piece and post it on both sites.

Thanks, Micheal. I know you and I have a friendly (I hope you feel that way) little dispute going about the bridge closure, but I do hope your story comes across with a little sympathy for the business owners on Main Street in Stillwater who have dealt with the issue of the large amount of (Wisconsin) traffic every day for the past....how many years? ;-) Besides the inconvenience that Hudson is seeing, and the quiet that Stillwater is seeing, I am sincerely interested in what their numbers look like. Thanks again!

I'll leave it up to Shawn to include the Stillwater perspective. It's out of my area of expertise.
