Hudson Board of Education to Hold Special Meeting Tonight to Address Budget, Collective Bargaining
The Hudson School District Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at the Multipurpose Room at River Crest Elementary School starting at 7 p.m.
Action items on the agenda include the following:
- Memorandum of agreement with WCEA Teachers Union regarding make-up days
- Reconsideration of 2011-12 open enrollment applications for two students
Hudson School District Financial Serices Director Tim Erickson will give a report to the board about how the budget repair bill and the governor's 2011-13 biennial budget proposal will impact the district's 2011-12 school year budget.

After the report, citizens will have a chance to address the board about the WCEA initial collective bargaining proposals for 2011-13.
The board will go into closed session to consider labor negotiations strategy with union groups represented by the WCEA; and to consider the sale and/or purchase of public properties. After the closed session, the board will resume open session to take up the follow action items:
