Accomplishment:  Matthew Krier, a graduate of Hudson High School, is a 2011 recipient of a $1,000 Comcast Foundation’s annual Leaders and Achievers Scholarship. The Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program provides scholarships to seniors who reach for their potential, work as catalysts for community change, participate in their schools and are good role models.

Key to awesomeness: Krier was honored for his volunteerism and involvement with Feed My Starving Children, Youth Sports Clinic, Habitat For Humanity, Peer Helpers and National Honors Society. He also played basketball, football and track. He plans to attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse to study education.
