The Hudson School District posted the following message on its website this afternoon:

The Hudson School District Late Starts scheduled for April 20 and May 11, 2011 have been cancelled. As a result of the school closings due to inclement weather and the school closing on February 18, 2011, the district does not meet the required number of hours set by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Rather than add time to the end of the school year and impact family schedules, the district decided to take advantage of the extra time allowed on the two remaining Late Start days.
