All after school and evening activities also cancelled.

Hudson schools are closed on Thursday, Jan. 24, due to harsh winter weather. 

The district announced on its website

Hudson School District CLOSED Thursday, Jan. 23
Due to dangerous wind chill conditions, the Hudson School District will be CLOSED Thursday, January 23rd. There will be no School Age Care. All after school and evening activities will be cancelled.

HS students will have a revised Final Exam schedule:

  • Thursday’s exams will be held on Friday
  • Friday’s exams will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 28th
  • The start of 2nd Semester will be Wednesday, Jan. 29th.
  • The 8th Grade Parent meeting scheduled for Thursday evening will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 28th, 6:30 p.m. at the HHS Auditorium.

    The District Administrative Offices will be OPEN Thursday, January 23rd.

    I must be getting old, because I actually find myself saying, "Back in my day, we just called it 'winter'. If it got cold, you wore a scarf. If it got REAL cold, they cancelled recess."
