Art Incognito 2013

Last month, one of Smilebk's co-founders, Melinda Rieck, used her talents as an artist and donated one of her paintings for auction at the 4th Annual Art Incognito.  As a gathering of those with a discerning eye for art and a passion for creativity, Free Arts Minnesota returns all proceeds back to the youth that are involved in the Free Arts program. Free Arts Minnesota is a locally-based, non-profit organization that provides a creative, healing outlet for thousands of children every year.

Melinda and Smilebk's Alysan Phillips attended the event. A well-orchestrated and impressive display of art surrounded the magnificent space that is AIA Event Center, downtown Minneapolis.  Guests sipped cocktails and nibbled on hors d'oeuvres as they admired and placed bids. Professional photography allowed for a red-carpet feel as the crowd mingled, filling the space with conversations of admiration and charity.

As the evening came to a close, so did the bidding window. Happy buyers collected their new decor and the 4th Annual Art Incognito was a wrap.  As Free Arts' most successful Art Incognito yet, this year's event raised over $50,000 for the underserved youth in the metro-area. Such an awesome program that provides opportunity to those who be otherwise denied.  Smilebk. :)
