Bryce DuCharme of Hudson was among 30 players from 12 states to participate in the USA Softball junior men's fast pitch national team training camp July 8–16 in Midland, MI.

Camp participants competed for spots on a final 17-person roster (to be announced later) who will represent the United States in the 2014 ISF Junior Men's World Championships July 2014 in Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.

“We’re really excited about this next World Championships cycle,” said Head Coach Tim Lyon. “This week will give us a great opportunity to get these guys together and really evaluate the talent and assess our needs as a team as we continue with preparations for the 2014 ISF World Championships.”

Upon arriving in Midland, the athletes conducted training and evaluations each day followed by scrimmages on Wednesday and Thursday. Thursday evening, the team played an exhibition game against a local Midland fast pitch squad.  On Friday, the team split into two teams and participated in a local 16 team fast pitch tournament, of which Team USA Blue, finished second.
