Will the Green Bay Packers Be on TV in Hudson This Week?

St. Croix County is in the Minnesota media market, which means oftentimes Packers fans here are second-class citizens when it comes to Twin Cities TV channels. Find out whether you'll be able to see the Packers on TV this week.

In Hudson, the Vikings have priority over the Packers on TV, because we're in the Minneapolis-St. Paul media market. When both teams are playing at the same time on the same network, our TV channels will carry the Vikings game.

In 2012, Green Bay fans may miss out on seeing the Packers on TV five times up to five times. For those games, you may have to buy a special NFL package, listen on the radio, or head to a local sports bar.

Below is a rundown of the season's games for both the Packers and the Vikings, including the Comcast Digital channel on which they will appear.

Just a heads up - you will need to subscribe to the NFL Network to watch the Sept.13th game in addition to the two other games mentioned - this probably should have been highlighted in the article.

Thanks for the info, Jennifer. I don't know much about cable TV at all. Let me know if you find any errors.

It looks like I was a bit too optimistic. It looks like as many as five Packers games may not be aired in our market. I made some adjustments to Weeks 5, 9 and 16 based on information that a Facebook user made me aware of. I will continue to update this post throughout the season as more blackout and flex scheduling information becomes clear.

I just removed some abusive comments on this thread. Please folks, no personal attacks. It's just football, and no matter who we're rooting for, we should keep it classy.
