Snow Gets Real, School Board, Library Book Sale: The Week Ahead in Hudson

A school board meeting will take place and the Friends of the Library book sale will get started before snow sweeps in Tuesday night.

At least it's something to plan your week around: the season's first winter snowstorm is likely to blow through Hudson and St. Croix County Tuesday night.

Look for as many as eight inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service, which issued a Winter Storm Watch starting at 4 p.m. Tuesday that includes Hudson.

Before the snow, the Hudson School Board convenes a meeting and work session on Monday. On the agenda (PDF): 2013-14 Budget Adoption and Certification of 2013-14 Levy and the Secondary Space for Learning.

On Tuesday (before the rain and snow): The Friends of the Library Book Sale starts and runs through Saturday.

Not to mention Friday's Level 3 playoff football matchup between Hudson and Appleton North.
