Hudson: The Cold Before Christmas

The wind will make Monday and Christmas Eve brutal, with wind chill readings as low nearing 30 below zero, according to the National Weather Service.

'Twas the cold before Christmas ...

Look out for temperatures in the low single digits Monday, with a high of 7°F forecasted for the Hudson area and a low overnight around -12°F.

The National Weather Service is also warning of dangerous windchills—as low as 15 below zero during the day Monday and 24 below Monday night.

Tuesday temps will reach double digits above zero—just. But the windchill will remain a threat—as low as -27.

If you're inside looking out, it should at least look pretty. Light snow will continue, leaving an additional one to three inches by Christmas morning.

Christmas Day in Hudson should be warmer, with a high of 24°F and a 30 percent chance of more snow. Still a bit windy, with a west southwest wind of 10–15 mph.
