Feast on Food Truck Fare This Saturday

"Three things to do in the Twin Cities area" includes a wine festival and a family event with pumpkins and ghosts.

Enjoy food from 15 food trucks and listen to local bands at noon Saturday, Oct. 19, at Harriett Brewing, 3036 Minnehaha Ave., Minneapolis, MN. The free event continues until 7 p.m. Adults 21 and older can get a wristband to drink alcohol. An after-event party starts at 8 p.m. If you don’t have a rally wristband, you will need to pay a $5 cover charge.

You can sample more than 100 wines from around the world starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Mallards on the St. Croix, 101 5th Ave. S., Bayport, MN. The event is free, but there is a charge for tasting tickets. If you still are in the area Sunday, Oct. 20, you can take in the Lift Bridge Road Race.

Pumpkin Night in the Park

Families can walk a pumpkin-lined trail and meet witches, ghosts and pirates. The event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Springbrook Nature Center, 100 85th Ave. NE, Fridley, MN. It costs $7 per person, or $6 in advance. Children 2 and under are free.
