You can now rent snowshoes at the Willow River State Park's Willow River Nature Center, thanks to the OWLs, the park’s friends group, and a grant from Healthier Together–St. Croix County’s Transform Wisconsin Active Communities.
It's a pilot project to get snowshoes onto the feet of park users. Adults and children will find snowshoes in their sizes available for one-day rental at a cost of $6 per pair.
