The Chef's Picks for Saturday NFL Preseason Action

The Chef was 4-2 in his picks yesterday. Find out which teams he's taking today, including in the Vikings-Seahawks matchup.

It's nice to start off to with a 4-2 record aginst the number. And looks like my fantasy watch players were just that, except for Ricky Williams. Roy Helu really jumped out and may not be such a sleeper any more. Green Bay looked good on offense, but the players missing on the defense really showed. You heard it here right now: the Colts will miss the Playoffs.

Saturday Games

I will take Buffalo +5, Oakland +3, Houston +2, St. Louis -3

SEATTLE -3 v. Minnesota

Give me Seattle and here is why. Neither team is a world beater, Seattle signed T. Jack and S. Rice and they will want to show up their former team. The Vikes looked bad on offense last week and won't look much better this week. And my inside sources tell me the Vikes waited until this moring to fly out to the Pacific Northwest for tonight's game. I know it's preseason but is this how to prepare a team? Or is Ziggy cutting costs (hotel etc.)? I have it on good authority that he had to borrow money from minority owners to pay a signing bonus. Adrian Peterson should see some stacked fronts, Berrian and Jenkins would not even scare the Hudson Raiders secondary. Not that Seattle is much better but at least they didn't endure a 3+ hour flight and have to get on the field, and oh yeah the Vikes are flying back right after the gane. Keep a eye on McNabb, he needs to complete a high percentage to keep defenses honest and give AP a chance. And see who steps up in the saftey battle, it is wide open and walk-ons are welcome.
