The knowledge of the staff here is better than most, and they have some really cool stuff, I just get frustrated when they run out of common items like inner tubes.

My experience with Art Doyle's Spokes and Pedals has been wonderful. I have always found staff to be more than patient, knowledgble and helpful! Art is a very generous person giving of his time and talent to not only his friends and clients but to many many community organizations and events. Art Doyle's Spokes and Pedals is a wonderful community business! If you need a bike go here!!
Bought my son's first bike here. He had a blast looking at the bikes, carefully testing one out in the store and we appreciated getting friendly and insightful service. We will definitely be coming back to check things out in the future.
Doyle's is an excellent cycle shop, great people, superior/knowledgeble mechanics, very nice product line, in both bikes and accessories, have been doing business with them for 20 years, since we moved to Hudson. Have never had a bad experience with them. Really enjoy the interaction with the staff when I just stop by to look at whats new.
Buy Local!

I have been a regular customer at Arts ever since he started his shop near the Johnsons Auto Body Shop many years ago and can't say enough about the way he takes care of each and every customer.
The quality of the merchandise is always top notched and so is his knowledge of the latest in technological advances in the world of cycling.
The mechanics in his shop know their stuff and will help you decide what is the best and cheapest choice for whatever is needed to get your bike back onto the road.
I have known Art for many years, as has many of my cycling buds have, and they all agree that there is no better shop to go to than his.
The guy that runs the place was a jerk. I simply asked if they price matched and he freaked out on me. I wanted to support a local small business, but considering the way I was treated I would never spend my money there. Also make sure you do not use the word "consumer", it did not end well for me. It"s too bad; I guess when you are a small town business customer service is not as important as in a bigger city where you actually have to compete for "consumer" dollars.
This is a great place to get a bike or anything to do with biking. The staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I am a middle aged female that hasn't ridden a bike in quite a while, and they found a bike for me that fit like a glove. They answered many questions. They didn't sell me a bike because it was expensive, but because I would really able to use it. I was afraid that because I had some back pain I wouldn't be able to ride but I found out if the bike is fitted properly to the rider this isn't a problem. The prices are reasonable and I don't have to pay the dreadful cost of shipping like when I order something on-line. Please give them a try, and you will be richly rewarded with great customer's service that is individualized for each person because they really do want us all to own and really, really use our bikes.

Mixed. Got a great bike for the kid... (you get what you pay for) Thes bikes they sell are 10 times better than the overweight garbage bikes at wal-mart.
...the bad... we brought our bikes in for yearly tune-ups. Paid a for a tune up, the bike wasnt wiped down at all, chain not cleaned--maybe i was mistakin at what a tune up includes :) had my tires replaced- came back witout even any tire valve caps on the bikes...ok....
Will be back though for a new bike when the time comes.
