Hudson Theatre
715-386-9697 (Movie Hotline) or 715-386-1420 Business Line
To find the only movie theater in Hudson, head east on Stageline Road. (Or, take I-94 to Exit 4, South on County Road U, then right on Country Road N which becomes Stageline Road.) That massive building standing alone amidst open fields and acres of parking is the Hudson Theatre, known in its former location as the Hudson Cinema 9. It has been serving Hudson moviegoers since 1989. Enter the expansive lobby of this nicely-appointed 2008 structure and you'll be treated to warm sienna-toned tile, soft overhead lightning, touches of river rock, and, oh yes, 12 large theaters, some with 3D, and all with stadium seating and reclining seats. Despite its impressive size, this is not your big-city movie theater, so be sure to check its scaled-back daytime hours of operation during the school year (phone the CEC Theatres Movie Line at 715-386-9697 for show times.)
