St. Croix Scuba

Flag as Inappropriate

Wisconsite Terry Noonan opened his St. Croix Scuba in Hudson because he was drawn by the beauty of the St. Croix River Valley and the ease of access Hudson offers to scuba enthusiasts from the Twin Cities and such Wisconsin cities as Menomonie and Eau Claire. Veteran divers and beginners alike will find both friendliness and expertise when they walk into this sunny aqua and blue shop, stocked with wet suits, tanks, swim fins, masks and a wide enough selection of scuba and snorkeling equipment and accessories to support eleven public-service dive teams in the Twin Cities metro area, including sheriff's offices and park services.

For people who want to find out whether they're ready to take the plunge into scuba, the shop offers a Discover Scuba session on the third Thursday of every month at a local YMCA pool. The scuba-equipped mannequins suspended from the store's ceiling and the nearby whiteboard list of upcoming tropical diving trips arranged through the in-store travel service, might have you imagining yourself in a whole new world of wonders under the sea.
