Interesting when in our own community the police look the other way and allow pot dealers fromRead More another country do their thing. Why not regulate it and get the tax money? It will guarantee that it is a good clean organic variety and we would benefit from the taxes on it. Colorado and Washington and California( medical Marijuana) will be watched closely on this issue.

Let's start with reforming drug sentencing around marijuana. It is a true minority of people thatRead More think our drug sentencing minimums are sane and are doing more societal good than societal harm. They are out of all proportion. And then when we fix drug sentencing minimums, we should retroactively revise sentences to all those in Minnesota prisons for drug violations. I'm not convinced "medical marijuana" should be the first hurdle to jump to changing the state's drug policy, we know everything medicinal in "medical marijuana" and regulated and is available over-the-counter by prescription already.

Leslie, You stopped me as i entered a DFL event and bad mouth Gov Dayton because he opposed this. ItRead More appears to me that Gov Dayton is taking a guarded, rational approach to this issue. I am happy he is wanting more research on the entire issue. I think he will change his mind on this after the facts are out. But your approach is too extreme. Take some demeanor from Scott Dibble. H

So the dome was good enough for the Vikings, but not so for the Twins. Build them a field you cried,Read More and you the tax payer did. The dome is good enough for the Vikings but not so for the Gophers. Build them a field you cried, and you the tax payer did. What is wrong with you folks from Minnesota, I mean what is your deal? Karl, you do know you bought the other 2 stadiums right? Is that it, your pissed because you already bought 2 stadiums for 2 crappy teams and you just cannot handle one more? I guess I could see your point then, but you have to come out and say that.

Why didn't the Pohlads and Wilfs go get a loan to build their projects just like everyone else hasRead More to? Because....they use their wealth to buy political favors and get free taxpayer money instead! Also, let's not forget which newspaper owns the majority of the land in this redevelopment and that has been very vocal supporters of the project. Hint: they have a very elderly multi-multi-multi millionaire who somehow thinks he is still relevant.

they are there by CHOICE...why should a lawmaker deny that?
sam January 14, 2014 at 12:58 pm
@ Yomammy, the law would ban it for youth only. I think the idea here is that some are not there byRead More choice.

Carbon Bigfuut January 14, 2014 at 09:52 am
A mute law would be considered discrimination. Do you have something against mutes?

sounds like feel good BS. Make a real law that provides EMS with the tools needed to do EMS. CurrentRead More is refusing funding and forcing EMS to a less than wallyworld or mcdoodlebeburger pay with hundreds of hours for the certifications and refresher, and that is only if the employer allows the provider. Some states to retain EMS providers give them an exemption on state income tax and property taxes. There are places in this country where Narcan is provided to general public. I mean how hard is it to take a sprayer and stick it someones nose. Oh ya guess what ACA would provide for drug and mental health treatment and for preventive care but that is a bad thing right! You were a good vet but this is BS.
