Hudson Police Blotter: Officer Helps Corral Loose Llama in Road

The following information was supplied by the Hudson Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Llama in the Road: A concerned citizen called to inform police of a llama in the road near Meadowlark Drive and Old Highway 35 at about noon on Sunday, June 26. When an officer reached the intersection he was informed that the llama had made its way behind a nearby barn. The officer helped home owners corral the llama into a fenced-in area until its owner, who lives in the neighborhood, could be reached. Found Money: A River Falls man found a large sum of money in the upper parking lot of the St. Croix County Government Center on Friday afternoon. The individual called the police and told them that he would keep the money and if someone called reporting that they had lost it that he would return it if the claimant could describe the bill …
