Ignite, Azul Open as Long Dormant Carmichael Crossroads Comes Alive
After almost six years of sitting vacant, suddenly the Carmichael Crossroads strip mall is bustling with activity with a restaurant and a martial arts studio sharing a parking lot with Aldi grocery store.
The Carmichael Crossroads strip mall at the corner of Hanley Road and Carmichael Road alongside Aldi has sat empty for nearly six years since it was built in 2007, but within the span of just one month it has seen its first two tenants open for business. Azul Tequila Bar & Grill opened on Dec. 26, and Ignite Martial Arts opened in its new space on Jan. 21. It is just the beginning for Azul so I'm sure they will get better but I would have to agree with you. My wife did like Azul's chips better but on all other counts including the salsa/queso and entrees we both liked Fiesta better.   more ›
