Erika Cherrier, Neighbor

My name is Erika Cherrier and here is a little bit about me.  I grew up in Eau Claire, Wi.  In 1990 I graduated from Eau Claire Memorial.  I attending UW~Madison for 2 years and graduated from Hamline University in 1994.  Following that, I got married and moved to Toronto, Canada for a year.  My husbands job moved us to Scranton, PA (home of "The Office").  There I had a job as a "Newspaper in Education Coordinator" at the Scranton Times and was recruited by the "Times Leader" in Wilkes~Barre.  Our family and roots were in the midwest, so when given the opportunity for my husband to work in Minneapolis, we indeed decided "yes".  We have lived in Hudson for 11 years.  I have 4 children: one in high school (15.5 yrs), one at the middle school (12 yrs.), and 2 at EP Rock (10.5yrs. & 6.5yrs).  When we first moved to Hudson, my job was a stay at home mom of 3 kids.  2007 I was the manager at the Giggle Factory and had always wanted to open a "Kids Consignment Store,"  A business partner and myself opened "Boomerang Kids" in October of 2008 and it has since closed due to the economy and the price of owning a small business.  I currently work for Go Kids Day Network.  We are a marketing platform for local businesses.
