Construction of Roundabout on Stageline at Hudson Hospital Begins Aug. 6

Stageline Road will be closed from the hospital entrance to O'Neil Road and closed to through traffic to old Highway 35. Traffic between Carmichael and old Highway 35. Traffic between Carmichael and old Highway 35 will be detoured to Hanley Road.

Construction of a new roundabout on Stageline Road at Hudson Hospital and Clinics campus entrance will begin Aug. 6 and continue through mid-September.

According to the city of Hudson website:

"Access to the hospital for patients and visitors will continue to be available using the hospital’s previous entrance on Stageline Road. Signage will be available to guide traffic to and from the health campus.

Stageline Road will be closed from the hospital entrance to O’Neil Road and closed to through traffic to old Highway 35. Signage will be provided for traffic entering Stageline from Carmichael and old Highway 35. Traffic between Carmichael and old Highway 35 will be detoured to Hanley Road."

Stageline Road between O'Neil and Old State Highway 35 is accessible to local resident traffic only.

"The new roundabout has been determined to be the safest traffic system for entering and exiting the health campus, and for through traffic on Stageline Road, a post on Hudson Hospital and Clinics website reads.

Hudson Hospital’s new medical office building is scheduled to open in December, with a community grand opening event planned for spring 2014.

The new medical office building will provide additional services and providers to Hudson and surrounding communities.
