Schaffhausen Home to be Dismantled, Land Sold and Donated for Park

The home will be taken apart, and materials donated to the St. Croix County Habitat for Humanity, KSTP reports. The home will then be razed, the land sold and the proceeds will be donated to build a park.

The River Falls home where Aaron Schaffhausen murdered his three daughters will be dismantled, and the land sold and donated to build a park in the little girls’ name.

Affinity Plus Credit Union CEO Dave Larson told KARE 11 that the decision was made after talking with with Jessica Schaffhausen, the mother of Amara, Sophie and Cecilia.

The home will be taken apart, and materials donated to the St. Croix County Habitat for Humanity, KSTP reports. The home will then be razed, the land sold and the proceeds will be donated to build a park.
