38 Hudson Runners Finish Twin Cities Marathon

Among the 8,849 runners who finished the 26.2-mile 2013 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Sunday, Oct. 6 were 39 from Hudson.

Fastest Hudson Finishers
Hudson resident Brian Zeuli, 36, finished with a time of 3:09:27. He placed 407th out of 8,849 runners, 343rd out of 4,919 male runners, and 56th in his age group of men.

Jill Hatch of Hudson, 37, finished with a time of 3:33:39. She placed 1,333rd out of 8,849 runners, 303rd out of 3,928 female runners, and 63rd in her age group of women.

Oldest Hudson Finishers
Cornelia Larson, 61, was the oldest Hudson resident to finish the marathon. Her time of 4:41:42 was 12th in her age group of 30 women. 

The oldest men from Hudson who finished the marathon Daryl Jones, 58, and Allen Omernik, 57. They finished 284th and 176th (respectively) out of 298 men in their age group. 

Overall Leaders
Arizona resident Nick Arciniaga won the 2013 Twin Cities Marathon men’s race with a time of 2:13:11, according to a StarTribune.com report. Former Minnesota resident Annie Bersagel won the woman’s title with a time of 2:30:52.

The race began near the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis and finished at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul.
