William Kent Krueger, tonight at Chapter2Books, and more news

Just checking in now that it's nice outside. Join us tonight as we welcome William Kent Krueger.

Shhhh....  don't tell but I think it's warm outside. Feels good, doesn't it? The extended winter was not kind to Chapter2Books. There have been many times when I've thought about blogging about it here but for now I'll just link to a couple blogs that were written for us.

The first one is by William Kent Krueger. I'm sure many of you know him for his Cork O'Conner mysteries set in the Boundary Waters. He will be at Chapter2Books tonight from 6-8 discussing his latest book, Ordinary Grace. Short notice, here, I know but join us. (like us on facebook too for event notices)

Feel free to read his blog and then comment here about the market weeding out bookstores, but you will never convince me.

Kent referenced Wendy Welch's blog which also goes into detail about the store.

We have received wonderful feedback and support the last few weeks. Thank you so much to everyone who supports the store. I've always meant to have a suggestion box so feel free to leave comments here.

Our Silly Saturday story times have been going well. Join us every Saturday at 10:30 for stories , crafts and games. Monday Morning Zoo is fun too at 10:30ish.

Our daughter rolled her eys when I told her what I was calling Sunday's story time. I don't care, it's Sunday Funday!

This Sunday we have New York Times best selling author and award winning author Warren Hanson. He co wrote A Cup Of Christmas Tea and wrote What Really Matters along with many other books. His latest is a picture book, It's Monday Mrs. Jolly Bones. It's such a cute story. Children of all ages will love it.

There are amazing authors with new books coming out in the coming weeks. Lots of reading for everyone. Khaled Hosseini, author of The Kite Runner has his latest And The Mountains Echoed coming out 5/23. Chris Kluwe, outspoken punter for the Vikings has a book of essays in June. He'll be signing copies at Chapter2.

Thanks everyone. Have a great weekend.
