Minnesotans Head to Hudson for Craft Beers
It's not only Sunday sales drawing Gopher State beer aficionados across the border to Wisconsin, the Star Tribune reported.
Beer drinkers from Minnesota are coming to Hudson for craft beers from
American Sky Beer by Hudson Brewing Company, Historic Casanova Liquor & The Nova Wine Bar, Pitchfork Brewing and The Stone Tap, according to the Star Tribune.
The attraction—besides shopping on Sundays, when Minnesota liquor stores are closed by law—is the chance to get beers brewed and sold in Wisconsin that are not available in Minnesota.
“We actually have a lot of people who come and do a beer run, a border run,” Stone Tap general manager Catherine Pflueger told the newspaper. Said Tyrrell Gaffer of Casanova Liquor: "Everybody wants the things they can’t get."
